Job Summary
The Director, OPMO & Change Management strategically partners with leaders across the enterprise to drive and support implementation and adoption of our most important strategic priorities and key initiatives, as well as deliver an organizational culture of service excellence, efficiency, effort, collaboration, and enterprise.
Drives activities such as change management workstreams in enterprise initiatives, operating model implementation, enterprise readiness & integration and change strategy, and performance management of enterprise initiatives. Creates and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption, usage and sustainability. Navigates the CHOC network and identifies stakeholder groups, functional areas and lines of authority, to implement a cohesive Change Strategy. Ensures utilization of adoption/training programs for technology implementations and clinical innovation initiatives through broad and/or targeted efforts. Monitors and as necessary develops metrics measuring the impact of interventions in driving successful implementations and change efforts. Supervises the Project Management Office staff.
Pay Range
Minimum $71.59 Midpoint $94.84 Maximum $118.11
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
  • Required: Seven (7) years of demonstrated success in change strategy with large-scale organizational change efforts or similar. Two (2) years of Management experience.
  • Preferred: Five (5) or more years healthcare experience.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree
Training
  • Required:
  • Preferred: Change Management Certification, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional.
Specialized Skills
  • Required: Ability to identify operating model implications at the beginning and during the execution of strategic initiatives. Ability in designing and deploying enterprise readiness and integration; change strategy and operating model frameworks, including identifying barriers, developing strategies to overcome barriers, coalition building, and securing buy-in when necessary; and customizing change management approach and tactics to organizational attributes and capacity. Able to use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access; operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Strong interpersonal skills and able to relate, communicate, facilitate and/or interview positively in-person or remotely via organizationally adopted platform(s) e.g. Teams and/or Zoom, effectively, and professionally with others. Provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Effective supervisory skills.
Licensure
  • Preferred: PMP certification or project management degree, Prosci or other change management certification or degree.
